Her story

From Washington, DC to a life of writing

A lifelong writer, poet, and lyricist whose work is rooted in faith, reflection, and the power of honoring people while they're still here.

Jean Renee’s creative gifts extend beyond prose. She has written and published over 400 poems and lyrics, including two original songs—Home and So Others Will Survive (a dedication to U.S. troops)—published by Song Partners in Sarasota, Florida.

Writing for her is therapeutic. She believes writing is a divine gift—a way to heal, inspire, and leave a legacy.

Now retired and living in Desert Hot Springs, California, Jean embraces a life of “staycation,” surrounded by healing mineral waters and mountain views.
